Robotix R.A.V.E.N. Construction System

This futuristic, motorized construction set from Robotix contains all the parts necessary to construct the R.A.V.E.N. jet explorer, and will also build the Acrobot or the Sidewinder in case the R.A.V.E.N. isn’t the right craft for the terrain on your planet. Decals, wheels, two motors, and a five-switch control box are included, as is the intrepid pilot Rox. Rox is only three inches tall, but he’s a can-do kind of guy with movable limbs and visor, a detachable life-support system, and a John Glenn sort of grimace. Robotix sets are pretty easy to snap together, but for added fun this set includes an interactive CD- ROM that incorporates the challenge of virtually “constructing” a Robotix toy on screen before using it on some galaxy-saving mission. The R.A.V.E.N. requires four 1.5-volt batteries for operation, and can be combined with other Robotix sets such as the Space Copter and Desert Rover. –Richard Farr
